Participants usually take this program in the afternoon hours, with the take-off place located above Trpejca village, Ohrid’s last traditional fishing village. From there, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking mountain and lake views, with the opportunity to see all of Ohrid’s lakeside area, including Peshtani, Trpeica, st.Naum, and even the Albanian side.
If we manage to catch some thermal currents and lift up for 200 meters, you’ll be able to see both the Ohrid and Prespa lakes.

We loved our morning out with two lovely pilots (both called Sacha I think), gliding over the lake and seeing the great views from above. We were made to feel at ease as we heard they both had over 20 years experience, yet still seemed very enthusiastic about their job and ensuring we had a great time. Lots of whoops and cheers from them as we ran off the hillside and took to the air – such a thrill – then landing on a sixpence – such skill. I got a paragliding gift voucher for my birthday. I couldn’t wait to try it. One of my personal best experience in Ohrid. The scenery is breathtaking, the team is very supportive, communicative and friendly, and they helped me the best way possible to organize a proposal to my girlfriend.

Amazing experience! It was my first flight and I was feeling really comfy. Karolina was wonderful in communication, guys picked up me in front of my hotel and also drove me back. They literally do everything and you don’t have to worry about anything. The flight was something special for me. And that you fly with someone, who organise and attend world championships makes it even more great. So don’t hesitate and fly with club vertigo 🙂 !
