Your Paragliding Ohrid adventure begins with our dedicated team picking you up from your hotel or apartment in Ohrid. Alternatively, you can meet us at the renowned Cuba Libre beach-bar. From there, we’ll transport you to the extraordinary take-off location using a thrilling off-road jeep ride, adding an adventurous touch to your journey into the mountains.

At the take-off site, our professional tandem pilot will provide you with a comprehensive briefing to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Once ready, it’s time to take flight and experience the sheer joy of soaring through the air for an extended duration of approximately 20 – 30 minutes, depending on the flying conditions. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty that unfolds beneath you.

During the flight, both you and your expert flight instructor will be equipped with comfortable harnesses, securely connected to the glider. Your pilot will guide you through the flight, explaining the mechanics of paragliding and even offering hands-on control of the glider if conditions permit. What do I need to bring?

Bring some good footwear (sneakers, running shoes), something that can give you good ankle support, as you are required to do a short run on take off.

How long am I in the air for?

Average flight time on the paraglider is about 15 mins. We rely on mother nature, so it can vary quite a bit, sometimes the flights are longer than the average, sometimes a bit shorter

Are there any restrictions?

Yes. The minimum weight for a passenger on a paraglider is 20 kg, the maximum is 100 kg.

How do I get to the take off?

We provide transport from meeting place to take off and back

How do I know if the trip goes ahead?

You will need to weather check with us before departure time. If we can’t fly due to the weather conditions we will try and accommodate you at another time/day.
As our activities are weather dependent, we would recommend to book your paragliding experience earlier during your stay in Ohrid rather than later. That way you have got a greater chance of flying.

Can I bring a friend to watch?

We’d love you to bring a friend along to watch as long as we have got room in the jeep. We do not charge for spectators, so it is on a space available basis.
